Willie Parker had a monster day against the Houston Texans at Heinz Field today. In 25 carries he racked up 138 yards and 3 touchdowns. 3 touchdowns! That's one more than he scored all of last year. Maybe this will quiet some of the doubters who believe all TDs are going to be handled by Mendenhall. I don't mind the doubters though - they allowed me to grab Willie with the last pick in round 3 in Fantasy Football. On that note: he scored 31 points for me, second only to Michael Turner of Atlanta for RB's. (Assuming Ryan Grant doesn't beat them Monday Night.) Parker is my #2 RB, and with Ward (19 pts) and Moss (17 pts) as my WRs, I had a pretty good day. I put Favre on the field instead of McNabb, which cost me 13 points, but it was worth a shot. It looks like I'll still beat my opponent this week by 20 points, even before Ryan Grant makes an attempt tomorrow night.
Here's looking to a great Steelers season. Mendenhall, Holmes and Miller weren't even very involved today, so more weapons are waiting in the wings. If this O Line can keep it up, and keep progressing, 2008 is going to be a good year. The Browns are up next for a brutal beating next Sunday Night.
